Did I happen to mention that I was moving to another abode? I think I did. Oh well. Yesterday was The Day. Is there anything as vile, vicious, and completely crazy as taking your worldly possessions, shoving them in endless piles of boxes (with a cover, of course), letting two very strong men put them in a van --- and, finally, escort those precious parcels to a new home? I say NO, there is definitely NO activity worse than moving from one home to another home.

But here I am. What a mess. Now isn't *that* an understatement de jour! I labeled every box, but for some weird reason there always seems to be tons of other stuff in the box that has absolutely nothing to do with the label I carefully script on the top of the box. I knew where an emergency 4-pack of toilet paper was when I marked one carton "Bathroom" ---- and of course, I knew those rolls of T.P. were in that carton, I mean, where else?

Well, nobody's perfect, right? The toidy-paper will show up sooner or later, I'm sure!

Well OK then, Ta-Ta for now.......Tomorrow, when I am alone I am really going to get going. Unpack and all that good stuff? Wish me luck, OK? At least in finding that naughty package of toilet paper that is hiding from me somewhere??

OH, I spent today not unpacking for one good reason. The technician from "U-Verse", the cute name AT&T gave to their new bundled package of cable Internet and cable TV stuff. It took him six hours to get everything hooked up, then tried to explain the very, VERY intimidating *remote*. Fuhgettaboutit!! The remote looks like a miniature version of the operating controls of a space ship, and I can't even imagine my actually learning what that thing is about! It's going to take me a very long time to get this baby trained to my wishes, that's for sure. Yikes.

But maybe, just *maybe*, one day it (the remote) will become clear to me, but right now I seriously doubt it! This whole thing boggles the mind, really, how truly FAST the technology has moved along is unreal!
